Overview:
Corky’s Food Manufacturing is seeking a skilled and experienced Production and QA Supervisor to oversee our second-shift production operations and ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, quality control procedures, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Oversight:
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of production operations, resource allocation, and workflow management.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
- Identify and address any issues or bottlenecks that may arise during production, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes and finished products to ensure compliance with previously established quality standards.
- Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership and guidance to production and quality assurance teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Train and mentor staff on production procedures, quality control methods, and safety protocols to enhance their skills and performance.
- Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Associate degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on production management and quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control methodologies, and regulatory requirements (SQF standards, USDA regulations, etc.).
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
